The Ouachita Challenge once again has received rave reviews.   Thanks for the nice emails that have been rolling in.  The positive comments have been phenomenal once again.  Even though the trails received tons of pre-event rain, we made the most of it, and had a great weekend!!      

We can’t give enough thanks to the Oden Public Schools for our home base and all the help & The National Forest Service for a place to ride! 

We would also like to give a special shout out to all of our volunteer groups who help us at the event.  We hear a lot of people asking “who are those awesome volunteers out there?”  This year we received special help from FoOT (Friends of the Ouachita Trail) at aid stations and road crossings, HAM radio help from Ouachita Amateur Radio Association, First Responders from Cove, Vandervoort, Joplin, & Board Camp fire departments, registration & finish line help from CASA (court appointed special advocates), and an ambulance that never moved (YEY!) from Southwest EMS. 

We would also like to thank Spirit Mountain Massage & The Natural Touch Massage Therapists for helping our knotty bodies!
